Himalayan Birding Experience
Explore the views of Chopta and the Himalayan areas with our special birdwatching plan. This trip takes you through forests, pretty valleys and high places to spot birds giving you amazing experiences with unique and gorgeous Himalayan bird species. You will see landscapes of Chopta and the surrounding Himalayan regions. The journey offers experiences, with rare and beautiful Himalayan bird species.
DAY - 1
Arrive at Kathgodam at noon and drive to Sattal, evening session at my bird hide in Sattal. Overnight at Sattal.
DAY - 2
Morning session at my bird hide in Sattal and evening session at Chafi river. Overnight at Sattal.
DAY - 3
Morning session at Kainkher Cheer Point and later drive to Mandal (3-4 hour drive). Chance of spotting Himalayan Griffon, Lammergeier, and Golden Eagle. Overnight at Mandal.
DAY - 4
Full day birding at Mandal (small village near Chopta inside Kedarnath Wildlife Sanctuary). Overnight at Mandal.
DAY - 5
Early morning drive to Chopta (30 min). Morning, afternoon, and evening birding sessions in Chopta. Overnight at Chopta.
DAY - 6
Early morning trek to Tungnath Temple, birding enroute. Evening birding session at Chopta. Overnight at Chopta.
DAY - 7
Early morning drive to Sattal. Reach Sattal by late evening and rest. Overnight at Sattal.
DAY - 8
Morning birding session at Shyamkhet (30 min drive). Later drive to Kathgodam for evening Shatabdi to Delhi. Services end.
